‘Organathon’ in the Conservatory

The organ will feature in its various roles - as a solo instrument, in ensemble with other instruments and voices and as a church instruments, while performances will feature the students and staff of the Conservatory.

22 keyboardists currently study the organ with Una Russell at the Conservatory, full-time undergraduate students, part-time students (including music graduates, ‘Junior Conservatory’ students and continuing-education students). Many current and past members of the DIT organ class have gone on to hold church and cathedral posts in Dublin and beyond.

A number of scholarships are provided annually by the Archdiocese of Dublin’s Liturgical Music Centre.
