Conservatory Open Day

- Students, parents and teachers - come and discover the wide range of full-time and part-time study options available at the Conservatory of Music and Drama at DIT.
- Students planning to pursue a full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programme in music or drama can meet with lecturers and current students.
- Hear individual and ensemble performances by current Conservatory students of all ages.
- Find out about the Junior Conservatory - teachers will demonstrate instruments and to answer any questions that parents and students might have - What's the best age for your child to start music lessons? what instrument would suit you? DIT staff will be delighted to help you with any questions that you might have.
- Learn about Pre-Instrumental Classes on Saturday mornings for children as young as three and Recorder Classes for children aged six to 11 years with an interest in learning a wind instrument.
Applications for study at the Junior Conservatory for the ’11 / ’12 Academic year are now open and vacancies exist for individual tuition in all instruments – piano, organ, strings, wind, brass, percussion, and voice.
