Scealta na Samhna 2- A Hallowe'en Masquerade

The origins of Hallowe’en date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain which marked the end of summer and the harvest, and the start of winter and the new year. Over the centuries traditions have developed around this very special time of year but in DIT we have developed our own tradition. You are invited to celebrate the Celtic New Year with us through music, song and stories in the company of singers, musicians and actors from the Conservatory of Music and Drama at DIT and friends, including:

The celebration takes place in the Gleeson Theatre in DIT at our Kevin Street campus on on Thursday 28th October at 8pm. Tickets will be available at the door and there is an extra special rate for families.
