A fascinating repertoire of Classical Indian Ragas. Utsav presents classical compositions & spontaneous improvisations, set to the rhythmic time cycles of Tabla & Mridangam. Also includes an interesting collaboration "Ragas to Reels" between Piano & Trad Irish flute showcasing a melodious cultural crossover that flows between Indian Ragas & Irish Reels.

A musical phenomenon, Utsav Lal" Raga Pianist", returns after his hugely successful Nationwide Piano Concert & Workshop India Tour in July-Aug 2009. Over 90 piano concerts worldwide & youngest award winner of Ireland's MAMA Awards 2008, the 17 yrs old pianist, delights with his amazing musical prowess. Utsav breathes life into ebony & ivory, with a melody that leaves the listener mesmerised & transported into a different world. Not to be missed!
Utsav is a piano student in the the Conservatory of Music and Drama, where his teacher is Pádhraic Ó Cuinneagáin
