Traditional singer from Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht in Kerry.
- Recorded solo CD Taobh na Gréine/Under the Sun,with Donal Lunny,Gael-linn label.
- Founder member of Ireland's first all female traditional band MACALLA 1984.
- Recorded two albums Mna na hEireann and Macalla 2
- One of a large family of traditional singers and musicians, most notably Seamus and Breandán, Seosaimhín recently recorded CD ‘Suailcí Sona’ Songs from a Gaeltacht Childhood, with sister Caitlín and brother Seamus.
- Studied Scots Gáidhlig language and traditional songs in Sabhal Mór Ostaigh College in Isle of Skye.
- Took part in 2005 BBC series Comhdhail Cholm Cille/Highland sessions, in which Scottish and Irish musicians sang and played together to celebrate their common heritage, piper Alan McDonald and Steve Cooney were musical directors.
- Toured U.S.A on a lecture tour organised by Irish American Cultural Institute.1993
- Seosaimhín has worked in radio and television in Ireland for many years.
- Presented Siamsa a prog of classical music on TG4 and Mountain Lark trad music prog on RTE.
