Part-Time Education for Adults at the Conservatory

Instrumental Tuition and Musicianship Classes

The Conservatory offers part-time students over the age of 18 the opportunity to take instrumental/vocal lessons in combination with an appropriate level of Musicianship tuition.  Continuing Education students must have some performance experience in the instrument/voice – the Conservatory does not accept adult beginners.  All students can apply for a place in one of the Conservatory’s many ensembles.

We offer instrumental and vocal tuition in the following disciplines:

• Piano, Organ, Harpsichord, Classical Accordion
• Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
• Flute, Oboe 
Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Recorder
• Trumpet, Cornet, 
French Horn, 
Trombone, 
Euphonium, 
Tuba
• Percussion
• Concert Harp, Irish Harp, 
Classical Guitar
• Singing, Repetiteur, Advanced Vocal Studies

Classes for Adults

As well as one-to-one instrumental/vocal tuition and musicianship classes, the Conservatory offers two credit-rated modules for adult students:

• Jazz Improvisation
