JENNIFER DAVIS, winner of this year’s Bernadette Greevy Bursary Award

Congratulations to JENNIFER DAVIS, winner of this year’s Bernadette Greevy Bursary Award. Jennifer receives a bursary of €5,000 and a solo recital at National Concert Hall next year.

The Bursary was established by the National Concert Hall and the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to support and provide performance opportunities for young Irish singers. The Bursary is named in honour of the late Irish mezzo-soprano and opera festival director Dr Bernadette Greevy, who was the first artist-in-residence at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama.

Jennifer Davis has made her debut with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra; she is a graduate of the Conservatory’s MMus programme, and a former participant in Opera Theatre Company’s Young Associate Artist’s Programme.
