On Sunday 17 March, the Palestrina Choir will sing Paul Flynn's newly-composed 'Aifreann Naomh Pádraig is Naomh Feilimidh' in the Liturgy of the 10am Chapter Mass in St Mary's Pro-Cathedral, Marlborough Street, Dublin 1.

The music for this Liturgy has strong links with DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama.
A number of Palestrina choristers are current students of the Conservatory. Instrumentalists include harpist Dr Clíona Doris (Head of Orchestral Studies), uilleann piper Mr Mark Redmond (Conservatory graduate) and fiddle-player Mr Darren Magee (Conservatory student).

Three pieces are choral arrangements by Dr David Mooney (Head of Keyboard Studies). The Mass setting is by Cavan composer Paul Flynn, former conductor of TCD Chapel Choir, while Dr Kerry Houston
(Head of Academic Studies) was Director of Chapel Music.

The music for the Liturgy will be directed by Ms Blánaid Murphy, Director of the Choirs at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral.
