DIT Conservatory Drama Graduates Storm the Edinburgh Fringe!

There are no less than three productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August, starring and/or directed by DIT Conservatory Drama graduates:

 

Somewhere Under The Rainbow: The Liza Minnelli Story

Sharon Sexton stars as singer and actor Liza Minnelli, with script and direction by Cillian O'Donnachadha

The Irish Times said of Sexton, "She lifts the roof with her magnificent voice and her dynamic presence."

"Somewhere Under the Rainbow" is at The Space @ Symposium Hall, 3-18 August.

Love All

Publicity shot for Love All at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012 Aideen Wylde stars in "Love All", about Irish tennis legend Vere St. Leger Goold and described earlier this year by The Irish Times as "the funniest, smartest, most entertaining show on the stage."

"Love All" is at The Assembly Roxy, 2-26 August.

Peep

Publicity shot for Peep at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012 Donnacadh O'Briain directs "Peep", a study in voyeurism in which audience members sit alone in one of 12 specially-constructed private booths and watch three new short plays.

London-based O'Briain worked under Michael Boyd at the Royal Shakespeare Company and is Artistic Director of Natural Shocks Theatre Company, winners of the Best New Play award at the 2011 Brighton Festival.

"Peep" is at the Pleasance Courtyard, 1-27 August.
