Benefits of choral singing

Being in a choir is invaluable for developing musicianship and aural and sight-reading skills, as well as for the development of the singing voice. These in turn contribute significantly to a young musician’s instrumental playing and overall musical expressivity. It is also a lot of fun. Beyond music, being a member of a choir has been proven to provide many social and personal benefits.

Bernie Sherlock is an international award-winning conductor of adult and children’s choirs. Her choir New Dublin Voices has won numerous prizes in Ireland and all over Europe.
